We appreciate the dedication it takes to acquire a unique collection of artwork, antiques, wine, watches or jewellery

Not only are the insurers we deal with the largest global insurers of privately owned artwork but they’ve also tailored their wordings to provide a broader level of cover to suit the requirements of our clients.

Dealing with an insurer who will provide a concierge level of service when an insured loss or damage occurs will provide comfort knowing settlement will run smoothly, quickly and with a minimal level of fuss.

The following represent a few examples where their cover is greater than the standard internet offerings:

  • Payment of loss for unspecified items – the insurer will repair or replace the property, whichever is the lesser without deduction for depreciation.
  • If after the restoration there is a difference, the insurer will pay the difference between the before and after valuation.
  • Defective title – if you have a covered loss, your insurer will pay up to $50,000 or 25% of the sum insured, whichever is the lesser amount subject to the acquisition being made from a qualified and registered valuer or dealer.
  • Wine cover – liquid assets are just as important as any other fine collectible. Choose one overall cover limit or insure individual bottles. Cover is included for spoilage due to mechanical breakdown of climate-control systems and for breakage.
